Two great resources for information on rare and endangered plants.
IUCN Red List
The IUCN Red List provides an approach for measuring the conservation status of species and are seen as the worldwide standard for determining the risk of extinction for plants. Many species in China are on their list!
Search online their list of plants for China. This site provides a very strong search so narrow down for your location or area of interest. Kew has a good explication of the different categories of threat.

Botanic Gardens Conservation Internaional is doing extreamly valuable work around the world with botanical gardens and threatened plants.
